Well I have to say I looooove Google Analytics! We just ran our yearly report and there were over 285 ways people googled different keywords to find our website. We can tell based on the keywords how long they stayed on the site, we can tell what pages were top exit pages...this information is so valuable! And it's free!

The holiday season is upon us.  It's the time of year where we all open our wallets wide and spend well beyond our means.  As we saw with the recent Black Friday in the US, the biggest sales gains were made online.  According to IT News, online retail saw an 11% increase over Black Friday 2008.  At a time when retail sales were flat or down over last year this is an amazing statistic.

With the convenience though comes some real risks and it is more important than ever to take precautions to make sure that you don't become a statistic of online fraud or theft.

Take a couple of minutes to read through the IT News article (see link below) on protecting yourself and have a great holiday season.

Check out this new cell phone at  www.pomegranatephone.com.  This is a clever misdirection campaign that tourism Nova Scotia did that has a lot on interesting elements.  First, you are almost convinced that this could be a real cell phone....  Second, it has obviously gone viral as you can see by the you-tube hits.  Third, and most important, it captures your attention and holds it for the duration of the campaign.  I think we will be seeing a lot of this in the future as we look for creative ways to get at the new consumer on their terms

Do you have the new ponegrante phone yet?
