New Media New Years Resolution

Here are some quick resolutions that you should consider adopting for your  business success this year…

1. I will not purchase a Yellow Page ad

2. I will not engage in an ad-campaign that I cannot measure

3. I will drive traffic to a distinct web page to measure any and all campaigns

4. I will expand my online network on Linked In, Twitter and Facebook

5. I will do more videos (and place them on my YouTube Channel)

6. I will Blog and I will make my Blogs interesting

7. I will tag my Blogs correctly so that search engines can find me.

8. I will use multi-channel marketing campaigns to engage my audience

It’s only January 3rd and more than 20% of the population have already given up on their resolutions….

Your Winnipeg business deserves  every chance to succeed.  Be resolved in your want to succeed.

Really??? Do not purchase a Yellow Pages ad? I recognize that it is difficult to measure effectiveness but for some businesses extremely valuable. I know of a local massage clinic that resisted for years and finally a couple of years ago he placed an ad and saw instant response. Every Monday morning he gets a flurry of calls from people who hurt themself on the weekend and perused the Yellow Pages, saw the phrase “pain relief” and picked up the phone. I would think places like restaurants, water heater replacement, plumber and many others still see huge benefit to Yellow Page ads. Perhaps a specific landing page or promo code in the ad could be used to measure effectiveness. Just my 2 cents… Sandi
